Hibiscus Fades with Autumn

Hibiscus moscheutos

Hibiscus fades with autumn, producing fewer flowers after the equinox, then begins losing foliage or dying back. Individual flowers don’t generally linger as dried blooms: they close, wilt, and drop, often after just one day.
