or other similar pest when it climbs onto the feeder and touches two metal
contact points at the same time. The completed electrical circuit provides
a mild correction, much like the static shock you receive when walking
across a carpet. The WildBills feeder is incapable of adversely affecting
a bird because of a bird's physiological characteristics and the air trapped
in their feathers prevents any electricity from reaching their body.
