Farmer's Market Online is not meant to replace, substitute, or otherwise compete with your local farmers market. Buying direct from a local farmer, producer, artisan or crafter -- and doing it directly, in person -- is the best form of marketing, both for the consumer and the producer.

Farmer's Market Online is the second best form of marketing because our shoppers, for the most part, are buying direct from the producer and our vendors are selling direct to the consumer. Our shoppers get higher quality, better security, and more satisfaction by buying direct from the person who grows or produces or crafts the goods they buy. Our vendors get better prices for their goods and direct contact with the consumer.

We exist because most folks, unfortunately, do not have access to a farmers market in their neighborhood every day of the week and every week of the year. Some folks live far from the nearest farmers market; others can't or won't go to their local market at the time it is held or where it is located.
